Erich Reismann
was born 1961 in Großkrut, Austria. He studied Philosophy and Arts,
financing his student life as a photographer for the Austrian Department
of the German weekly “HörZu”.

Establishing his career as a professional photographer in the Eighties,
his work was published by leading lifestyle magazines all over Europe
( “The Face”, “Moda”. “King”, “Tempo”, ... , ... among others).

In Austria, he worked for “Wiener”, “Wienerin”, “Basta”, “Gault Millau Magazine”,
“cashflow”, “Wiener Germany”, “Kurier Freizeit” “Ego” and “Diva”.

In the mid-nineties, Reismann accepted the post of Head of Photodesk at
the newly founded economic daily “Wirtschaftsblatt”, setting up and supervising
the implementation of digital photography into the production process,
becoming the first in Austria to do so within a print media environment.

In 2002, Erich Reismann left the company. Ever since, he has worked as a
freelance photographer in Vienna.
